Infamous T-wolves/Jimmy Scrimmage

I was reading more about the infamous Jimmy & 3rd stringers scrimmage and found the below two links. Funny funny stuff. 1st link is where you hear about it from a player who was there. 2nd link is direct from Jimmy.

Jeff Teague talks about the infamous Minnesota practice where Butler beats the starters with third stringers (from Club 520 Podcast) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMcIVi7tojg

The Secret Detail of Jimmy Butler’s Infamous Timberwolves Practice - The Ringer https://www.theringer.com/2018/12/11/sports/jimmy-butler-timberwolves-76ers-third-string-practice-secret-detail-jj-redick

Two nuggets from the second article:

1. RE: Scrimmage. "Butler: I only shot the ball one time. I only shot the ball once."
2. RE: "Joy". In this interview, he explains a lot about why the Timberwolves situation didn't work out. Basically, if he's not mentally in it, he knows it's hard to play well and he's not going to put himself in those situations.
