Is Mumbai still safe to travel to right now?

Sorry if this is an ignorant question. I’m travelling to India in a week for the first time ever and will be staying only in Mumbai. I’m coming from Canada and will be spending 3 weeks in the country.

I know that the conflict is currently escalating and can get worse at any moment, but I also see that it’s mostly concentrated in Kashmir. What is the vibe like in Mumbai right now? Would you say it’s still safe to travel here right now?
