Resound Key with Eko Core 500 stethoscope?

Has anyone successfully used the Eko Core 500 stethoscope with a recent android phone to stream to Resound Key hearing aids? Mine don't pick up sound from the Eko. Eko said stethoscope defective and is sending a new one, but I'm beginning to doubt that the product will work with my hearing aids.
