[TOMT] [Movie] A scary movie where "nothing happens", a gas station on the poster

Trying to remember this movie I heard about, it's a very "I went to film school", "yes, I only watch obscure horror films", "yo follow me on letterboxd" type of movie... I'm pretty sure it's either Scandinavian or German, something like that.

The original title is one long word and I don't know what it meant so maybe that's why I think that.

It's kind of controversial because people seem to either find it to be one of the scariest films ever made or a complete bore where nothing happens.

I won't try to write about the plot too much because I'm truly unsure about any details, but I have a vague memory of a male main character and a child going missing? What I remember is that it didn't sound to me like an obviously scary horror movie plot, at least on the surface.

I think the poster is an image of a gas station at night, I remember it being very dark and blue, with headlights, maybe a neon sign.

It didn't seem to be older than 80s, in my mind it's probably from the 00s, but could be 90s.

Sorry to be so vague! I haven't even seen clips from it but I think I saw some video mentioning it and I was just thinking about it and can't seem to find it anywhere.
