anyone else able to eat more calories on wegovy and lose weight?

i’m just curious if anyone else experienced this. i gained 60ish pounds from medication and was unable to lose it. i worked with a dietician for months, counted every calorie, did cardio and weight lifting, and didn’t lose a single pound.

after starting the medication, i could eat way above what i was eating before and the weight just fell off. my endocrinologist says i probably have some metabolic thing and some mechanism in the medication is helping fix that. so i was just curious if anyone else experienced the same thing and if you ever had an answer as to why!
