Is it safe or dangerous to take a shower while inside the house when it is raining with lightning and thunder outside?

I had an instructor tell me that electricity doesn't take the path of least resistance. Electricity takes EVERY path it can. With that in mind, could I get killed or seriously injured while taking a shower during a thunderstorm as there is one rolling through my area now.
