Coin shops

I went to this coin shop today and saw their lowest eagles were $40 and the price they were offering to buy (all eagles even star privy) was under spot. Do these coin shops not realize they aren’t the only shops in town? At least in my area lol. I really wonder how these guys sleep at night, I get you gotta pay the bills, employees, and etc but cmon. How are you gonna pay the same amount for a star privy American eagle as you would a generic buffalo? When I asked “so you’re paying under spot for ASE?” He told me “yes we have a lot of them at the moment”. Like no shit dude they are the most popular bullion in the world with like the highest premium of course you have a lot of them. I really don’t know the point of this post and thankfully I didn’t sell cause I didn’t need the money I was just curious, but to any newbies out there don’t be afraid to puff your chest a little and not get screwed over. Call around don’t go off one shops prices. Also ps. I’ve been in this shop before and the dude always looks at me like I’m a dumbass and don’t know what I have or am looking at because I’m 23. Not going there again lmao. Sorry for the rant.
