Question about Cult of the Lamb Twitch Extension - Safe to Remove?

I'm playing the game and using the Twitch extension that lets viewers interact with the game (like contributing to the totem or customizing follower forms). However I don't plan to play again soon and wants to know:

Is it safe to remove the Twitch extension without losing any in-game data? Specifically:

• Will Twitch Totem progress be saved?
• Will followers and their custom forms (submitted by viewers) stay intact in the game?
• Will viewers who already set up their follower forms need to redo anything later?

I just want to clear the screen from the extension, not lose anything. Thanks.
