Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time there were two boys who loved each other very much. The One saved the other, and the two were feasting on a blanket the fruits of their garden beneath the soft sun of God’s day, not dissimilar to how fruitful they were with each other that morning. As the two finished, The One asked the other, “May I show you around?” The other, with a gentle smile, nodded. The One reached out his hand to the other and they left their picnic on the delicate grass of God’s green earth.

“I want to show you the many rooms our Father has given us,” said The One, “Where we will reside for many times.” The other held to The One’s hand, closely knitted in love.

They walked up to the top of their crystal mansion overlooking the forests and mountains. Outside the room which they slept a large glass window paned the wall. The two stood, hand in hand, staring out into the great expanse of mountains and forests.

“This was given to us by Our Father to explore. We will be the first to do so,” said The One. The other looked at The One with joyful anticipation.

They continued down from the zenith of their crystal mansion. The One gestured “These are rooms for us to relax and reside. I have rarely done so, waiting for you to join me by my side.” The other saw all manner of rooms, from the finest fabric to the fullest libraries of God’s eternal secrets. The other stopped, tugging at The One’s hands. The One looked at the other, and knowing he was okay, softly laughed and pulled the other’s hand to the next room. They laughed together as they walked through the mansion their Father gave them.

“These are the game rooms, the furnished rooms, the social rooms, the theaters, the secrets, the rooms to live in, the rooms to dine in, the rooms to laugh in, the rooms to create in, the rooms for us, and the rooms for God,” said The One, “But there is one room I don’t know yet. We will find out together.”

The One led the other to a large brass door. In the middle of the door was a blue and green crystal lock, a turning mechanism for the room. “I haven’t opened this room yet,” said The One, “I’ve been saving it for us. For when you were finally with me.”

The One looked at the other in his clear iridescent eyes. The One reached into his pocket.

“I have the key here. Our Father gave it to me,” said The One, “This is for us to open together.”

The One looked into the other’s eyes longingly. The other look into the One’s eyes with love.

“Say something,” said The One.

“I love you,” said the other.

The One smiled his beaming smile and the other did the same. The One took the key into the crystal turning mechanism.

And that was the first day of one thousand years.
