WTF Canada?

Looking at senior and staff accounting industry roles on linkedin and is it just me but the prospects lackluster?

Public accounting is always picking seniors though but of course CPA + 3 years experience and willing to put int he hours.

I don't get where the "exit" opportunities are. Most of these industry roles are pretty trash paying 70k at senior and expecting you to do everything. Also they expect 2 years of closing experience which someone of of public won't have.

Goal post keeps switching. We literally went from have a pulse -> Have CPA -> public -> must be big 4 -> Big 4 + CPA + Industry senior experience.

I can also see people see getting more bitter in my group. People outwardly saying racist things here in Canada and no one bats an eye. Mainly about our offshore team.
