How did you all learn modern missile and radar jets?

I have played this game since it was in closed beta over 10 years ago. But I have never gotten past anything other than F-80. I've had an F-4 in the hangar for quite a while and never took her out.

Outside of just going out and being lazy, what is a good resource for the basic radar, missile, and counter measures?
