Oversharing of intimate and personal medical issues. Anyone else?

[Rant/Vent]

Amidst a slough of issues I have with my nmom, her over sharing extremely personal medical issues with me has been a running theme. I'm wondering if anyone else deals with this?

My Mom just sent me a text:

"I called in today and tomorrow I woke up with yeast infection from antibiotics I am home if yall want to stop by happy mothers day πŸ’— πŸ’–" followed by a photo of the medication she's taking for it

This is not what I wanted to hear on Mother's Day πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

She's always in the past felt the unshakable urge to divulge any vagooter issues to the family and myself as well. She'll send out messages to her Mother (who's a moderate covert narc), sisters and me. It's three generations of enmeshment that I've been trying to break the cycle from. I've also told her I have absolutely ZERO desire to know when she has any infections, any issue of any sorts down there. It's just not something I want to think of, and I don't think I'm over reacting for not wanting to know these intimate details.

And I know, I know, I know. It's just the human body, and I shouldn't be this squeamish. I've gone through a dozen surgeries, had a whole ass kid via emergency c-section, my daughter has had dozens of medical procedures- we've been through some shit. I'm a grown woman, but I just....... DON'T want to know this kinda stuff. Out of the blue and caught off guard.

But can someone tell me I'm not being crazy??!!

Thing of it is - I'm 100% the odd one out in the whole enmeshed family. Everyone knows when anyone is sick down to the finite details. So when I express my disdain for this kinda thing, they just brush it off as me being dramatic and over exaggerating and "it's just a twat! it's just an ass, it's not that big a deal we all have them" because they all grew up as a family right up each other's asses and having zero privacy, so that's what the norm is to them.

Also, any snarky response suggestions I'd love to hear πŸ’€
