I want to agree with him, like with working with villains and all that but I'm sorry ,he did a horrible job at dealing with the situation and acted so stupid and reckless and especially short sighted(to the point where it feels out of character)and I'm sorry but any valid points he made are kinda somewhat rendered moot by how he handled it.

It's especially weird cause Cecil knows Mark was going on since that's how he acted when he was younger and instead of,you know, understanding and actually Enpathizing with Mark and addressing his frustrations, he basically goes "cause I said so" which is easily one of the worst things you could say to Teenagers and I'm sorry, there was also no need for the White Room cause that is where he just escalated things and heavily pushed things.

Cecil could've just sat in his office and eat lunch and let Mark vent and get out his anger and frustration and then talked once Mark was calmer.
Hell, they could've had this conversation at Burger Mart and Mark would've just stormed off and not talked to Cecil for a while and at the very least, things wouldn't have gotten so tense that the Guardians split up and he lost his greatest assets.

Even from a strategic standpoint, him using the contingency plan in that moment was so foolish and so stupid when he should've have used it when he really had no other choice but to use it and even stupider that when Mark flew out of the room, Cecil repeatedly forced Mark down using said sound device and was trying to force him back and what was even the plan then?

And I'm sorry but what really tips me off is Cecil refused to let Mark go the guardians GQ and why?
If you really believe that what you're doing is for the good of the world, then why don't you want Mark to get there first and tell them what you're doing?

Hell, once Mark got there, there was no more reasons to use the sound device or Reanimates on him.
Mark was weakned and on the floor, the other guardians were there to deal with any conflict, and Mark wasn't even in the Pentagon yet Cecil continues to brute force him using the Reanimates and sound device and was trying to force Mark back to the GDA and literally why?
One minute you want Mark out and next you're trying to force him back?to force him to submit?
What was he cooking?

Then he gets the bright idea to basically insult and snap at Mark once all his defenses were down and like he has 0 sense of self preservation.

If Cecil had put the sound device in his suit or had them as like intercoms, I'd understand but putting it in his head and brain without his consent or knowledge is just such a gross violation of Mark's personal space and trust that I don't blame Mark for crashing out on him and choking him that one time.

Seriously he had no need to do literally all of that and he basically lost his greatest assets and split and weakned the guardians.

Hoe are you the head of the GDA and have 0 conflict resolution skills?

And I'm sorry but I don't buy that Cecil was actually scared cause if he was actually fearing for his life, he would've just teleported or stayed in his office.

It feels so out of character for Cecil to be this short sighted when he felt a lot more composed and empathetic snd focused back in S2.

I'm sorry,what was Cecil cooking?
