How many ounces?
My fiancé texted me and said “We may need to start giving him more than 5 ounces. Little Caleb seems to be extra hungry”
My son is 3 months old. He will be 4 months on the 27th. He’s already eating 5 ounces of breast milk at a time. According to what I’ve researched, most babies are 3-4 ounces at 3-4 months old (which he usually gets about 3-4.5 oz off of me when I’ve done weighted feeds). Then 5 ounces from 5 months and on… so he’s already at 5 ounces since 3 months old.
Curious how many ounces others babes are taking… he didn’t specify what makes him think this (really it’s my MIL that is saying it to him… she’s said multiple times “grandma doesn’t like to see you hungry” well I don’t want him having weight and health issues because she wants to over feed him) when I feed him from the breast, he’s fine with whatever he gets even towards the end the day when it’s less.
Thoughts? Advice?
