MIOT start dates

Hi everyone,

I am into OASC for Pilot (I haven't got a date for it yet ), but I am just wondering what the backlog is like for training at the minute. I am thinking of going to Australia to visit family for 4-5 weeks over Christmas, if all goes well and I get in, when can I expect to start training? I have seen some stuff saying people are getting start dates in the middle of next year. I obviously don't want to start with a huge 5-week holiday during training as that would make life very difficult. Based off this I am guessing that If I have OASC in say 3 months, my start date is likely to be August - November, or around then anyway. Can anyone advise if I am on the right lines?
