Other half badgering you over nothing

Anybody else married to one of these perfectionist types . Was just helping my partner with dressing the duvet and putting the sheets on the bed I often do this chore myself as I know the partner just gets stressed out and she has her own way the duvet goes on and heaven forbid if you don’t do it right , if there’s temporary lumps as your dressing the duvet she starts the badgering ( having a go ) , I just lost it with her and told her to Fo just fed up over a simple household chore when your trying to help . I’d be getting the same look if doing something in the kitchen or elsewhere and not done my other half’s way . The other half’s Ex married about 10 years was found to be cheating . Am a quiet enough person who does all that’s expected but half the time it’s not the right way . My other half shouts and complains at the simplest things at other people’s driving when out and about . Does anybody recognise that personality tread . None of my exs ever carried on like that . Sorry not saying husband or wife they end up banning me on these forums if I do !!
