Can you start over at 45?

After years of being depressed and comfort eating, I decided I can't continue living my life the way I do.

I enrolled at a weight loss program, a first step, and I'm bent on working through my issues. I want to be happy, I want to be healthy.

I do wonder if I can start over at 45. My best years are behind.
