How do you not call people out when everyone agrees theyre an asshole

Im dead serious. Ive always had this issue, even since i was 12 calling my dad out for abusing us as young kids. Time and time again ive been either punished or just verbally attacked for calling shit out as wrong. Now ive got a manager who yelled at me for phrasing something even slightly wrong.

Hes known to have an insane ego, and even more insane control issues, and every employee and manager talks shit about him, and even will pass knowing exhausted glances when stuck dealing with him, but since hes the gm nobody says shit. What's even worse is hes clearly incredibly insecure too, n acts like the class clown in school who just never grew up after graduation, trying to make literally everything into some stupid lame joke. One day he had a coworker guess an animal till he got it.. but the twist is... there was no animal. Hysterical, right? If he wasn't such an asshole otherwise it might be at least endearing to hear a whole ass adult do something like that but no, hes just a sick.

All I did today was try to tell him that if he stays on one position in the very middle of the order of the kitchen (burger place, he stays on grill most of the time, doesn't let anyone else do it ever when he works) hes making life more difficult for his other employees who are constantly switching between 2 or more positions. As soon as I unfortunately phrased it as "youre always on grill" he saw red n started snapping at me, and just refused to hear any of what I was saying.
