A very lowkey Hawaii elopement

My fiancé and I are planning to elope (and honeymoon) in Hawaii in May/June next year. We’ve been to Oahu before so this time want to cover Maui and Big Island. It’s just going to be the two of us and we want to keep things very low key. We just want to do standard vows, no music or a photoshoot. We just want to have a great day exploring afterwards. I’m struggling to think of the best location though, something that will balance the simplicity we’re after, but won’t seem too random. Has anyone eloped on either Maui or BI and kept it very low key?
