[RevShare] [LF Devs/Modelers] “Eons of Earth” – Dinosaur Survival Simulator | Passion Project Needs Help Getting Off the Ground
Hey r/INAT,
I’m an 18+ aspiring solo dev with a big vision and a lot of passion — but very little actual game development experience. I’ve always wanted a scientifically accurate, survival-focused dinosaur game where you and other players are the dinosaurs — something in the spirit of The Isle or Path of Titans, but with a fresh twist. Since no one’s made the game I’ve always wanted to play, I’ve decided to try building it myself.
The game is called Eons of Earth — a prehistoric, open-world survival simulator where players live as creatures across different geological periods, evolving, surviving, and adapting through time. You’ll start as a small creature in, say, the Late Triassic, and work your way up through an evolution tree by surviving long enough to "evolve" into more powerful species. Think: dynamic AI ecosystems, realistic injuries and diseases, natural disasters that reshape the map, and deep survival mechanics based on real paleo-environments.

I do have some limited experience from school projects — enough to understand basic logic, workflows, and tools — but I’m still very much a beginner. I’m learning more every day and trying to build this in Unreal Engine 5.
Right now I’m looking for:
- Game Developers (UE5/Blueprint/C++ preferred, but any help is welcome)
- 3D Modelers/Animators (especially those passionate about prehistoric life)
- Mentors or collaborators who can help steer the early development process
I’ve already got people backing the idea and excited to play it, but I just need help getting it off the ground. I can’t offer funding (yet), but I can offer passion, transparency, and long-term commitment. and willing to pay anything if this actually becomes a reality
If you’re interested in helping build something truly unique and immersive, drop a comment or DM me. Even advice is hugely appreciated.
Thanks for reading, i do appreciate it.
