What are you finding different in a good way with Spirit?
I am a former Southwest loyalist and when Spirit remodeled their marketing into packages, including baggage and seat choice, I started to do $ for $ comparisons. I was impressed with what Spirit offered, including nonstops to my destinations. Wondering how Spirit folks are finding these upgrades? I have not flown Spirit in 15 or so years to avoid their mean-spirit (IMV) because there’s always been other options I’ve been willing to pay a little more for. My mind is opening now with the Southwest decline in customer oriented services. I am concerned about Spirit’s record with reliability, I would like to hear from anyone who’s had experience with cancelled flights. For my first foray back into the Spirit world I booked 2 flights in March for later travel - perfect price, perfect times, nonstop. Some days later, I received emails canceling BOTH perfect flights and rescheduling me for (insane!) midnight flights with connections! Rarely if ever have I had flights canceled and rebooked by any other airline, unless it was last minute- weather, engine issues and such. Felt like a bait and switch. The end of that story was I got my money back and booked Southwest before their big changes take effect
