12 year c-bag club member....rectal mucus stump

Howdy... just curious if anyone is in the same boat. Had three gastro surgeries in 2013 and 2014 and the first and third ones left me with a c-bag. Long story less long but I told the surgeon I'd rather live with the bag than go through another surgery.
So for the last 12 years every 2-4 months or so I would have 2-4 days of discharging my rectal stump mucus naturally. After a few days of that every hour or so I'd feel fine and go another few months before my next round of mucus discharging. Fast forward to this week. I started my mucus discharge on Monday night and it is still going. I'm on day 6 now and I'm a little confused and concerned. My body isn't trained anymore to do this. I cough and sneeze and it discharges a little. I was lucky enough to be able to work remotely last week but will need to go to the office tomorrow. I can't spend half the day in the bathroom. Anyone have anything that would soothe my mind?
