University rejection
I’m trying not to cry today. I dropped out of university at 22 on a law degree. Was forced into it and manipulated by my mother for years. She had a breakdown and me balancing her 30 text messages a day and trying to graduate was not feasible.
I ran away with my boyfriend to another county in Europe and tried to apply again. I however couldn’t access my high school documents in time so of course I was rejected.
I just feel so stupid today. I’m trying so hard to find my path, I’m trying so hard to have a fun life in my early twenties and begin my life again.
It’s just so impossible with constantly thinking about my mum. I can’t help but compare myself to others my age who have all graduated and have supportive families. It’s so impossibly difficult sometimes.
