Is there an online tool that lets you sort information like the Outer Wilds ship log?

I'm trying to write and sort information about something happening in my life. I'm using Notion right now to write and sort the information, but it isn't quite as powerful as I'd like in organizing the information. I'd like to oraganize it in a visual way like the Outer Wilds ship log. I'm imagining boxes that I give a title to, I can put them wherever I want and connect them however I want, and when I click on one it opens a bigger box with a little word processor inside.

I tried flowchart creating websites but they don't quite cut it. They were a bit cumbersome to use and I couldn't find one with a feature that lets you create a little document that opens when you click on a specific box.

A long shot maybe but do you know a tool that does what I'm looking for?
