Girlfriend’s Dessert Habit

Last night after dinner, my girlfriend wandered into the kitchen, half-distracted, and came back with two bowls of ice cream. She set one in front of me, then paused, looking confused. “Oh,” she said, “I didn’t even realize I scooped you one too.” I wasn’t even craving dessert, but I ate it anyway. Even on autopilot, she’s thinking of me.
