Bazzite as a daily driver

Hi!

Sorry about the general title, but my issues are kinda mixed bag and I didn't know how other could I encompas it all. Anyway, I installed Bazzite on a spare SSD. Firstly I wanted to keep it as striclty gaming platform, but then I started thinking about turning it into my daily driver. I have run into some problems, however, and I hope you'll be able to help me.

1. I have read the tutorial about switching between Windows and Bazzite. I have thos systems on two separate SSD's, though. So I am wondering, if there is an easier way to manage it, than through BIOS boot menu? Should I move Bazzite to the same SSD that hosts Windows? I have read that sometimes Windows may mess things up in such a setup.

2. I have figured that when I install Bazzite without the gaming mode enabled, it ends up with Steam games unfunctional and saying that they run on Windows. Should I install something extra to enable it? As cool as gaming mode is, I don't want to boot up directly to it.
