RGB LED Driver IC Help Needed!
Hello- I’m trying to design my second PCB, and I just want it to be a PCB that fits in a frame where the front side is covered with RGB LED’s and the backside will have components, batteries, Battery charging IC, and RGB LED driver IC. I know options exist for what I want but I’m getting lost in all the choices that are out there… I’m hoping someone here has designed something similar in the past (maybe even LED light strip?) and used a good IC.
What I’m hoping for, is:
-highly preferred standalone without microcontroller
-drive RGB LED’s (smaller ones, 0805 or 0603) in somewhere between 1-3 series LEDs
-options for switches or potentiometers etc to change colors, dimming. Breathing would be a huge bonus.
-preferably multiple channels per IC or options for parallel connection
-input voltage is not a factor, I will tailor the power rails to match IC….
-hand solder able form factor, really anything that has nearly all leads exposed like TQFP, SOP, DIP at any pitch
Note the loose plan is to power the device from 2S lifepo4 with a charging circuit
