Seeking Advice

Hey, so I'm an international student who applied to these MBA programs (Cornell, Berkeley, Wharton, Columbia, and HBS) in Round 2 but didn't get in. To boost my chances for Round 1 Fall '26, I'm considering a 1-year master's in finance program to strengthen my application. I've got a few options:

  1. WashU Olin (Master's in Finance with 50% scholarship, $45k off)
  2. George Washington (MSF, no scholarship)
  3. Cornell (MPS in Applied Economics, $8k scholarship)
  4. Emory (MSF with $30k scholarship)

I'm funding my studies with an education loan and hoping to take another for MBA living expenses if I get a full tuition scholarship. Which of these options would be the best stepping stone for my MBA goals while keeping my loan debt manageable?
