DEIMOS NEEDS HELP

Would anyone be willing to donate to a good cause? My husband is a 100 percent service connected disabled vet. We were fortunate to be able to get him a puppy in November to train as his service dog. Deimos has gone through the first round of training with flying colors. He is so sweet, smart and intuitive, however we found out yesterday that at just 7 months old, he has to have both of his hips fixed due to dysplasia. We have pet insurance, however they wont cover any of the surgeries because its a "pre existing" condition. The surgeries will cost around 10k. We were not prepared for this expense, especially after the cost of the training and what we paid for Deimos. I would sell my kidney for this dog and my husband if I could but that is not legal, so I am literally begging anyone that can help or even share this to do so. We are setting up a gofundme and I will post a link here but if you prefer to donate directly to the clinic, that would be fine too. I will be completely transparent with every step of this journey. I will provide proof of diagnosis and cost to who ever needs it. If there are any funds left over from donations, we will be paying it forward to someone else that needs help by leaving the funds with the clinic for another animal in need. We will never have access to any of the money. His first surgery is scheduled for the 27th of May and we have to have 5k on that day. He will be going to AVES in little rock and Dr. Fields is his surgeon. I am posting the type of surgery he is having and what it entails below. It is pretty invasive and will require a lot of aftercare and pain management. This has been very hard for me to post so please be kind. Sometimes life throws you curveballs and this was a big one for us. Thank you to whomever has taken the time to read this and consider helping out a sweet dog and his amazing human.

Triple/Double pelvic osteotomy (TPO). Common in dogs less than 18 months old without evidence of arthritis. The pelvis is cut in multiple places, repositioned, and held together with implants for a better fit
