Casual matchmaking is horrible enough that most of my friends rightfully drop the game after a few days

Title. I cannot fathom the amount of times I’ve queued in stack, solo, whatever, in every single game mode sans ranked/WT only to be trapped into what’s an obvious, clear as day, 5 or 4 v 6. Just a complete waste of time from start to finish and actively unfun. I don’t mind these kinds of teams in COD but in a game like this, it’s definitely dooming it from getting more popular. Even when it gives us the reverse like once a goddamn month, it’s still insanely boring.

New players are fine, but they are constantly in both me and my one friend who actually stuck with the games lobbies. I’m talking a light who will not get over 1000 score combined in anything over the course of the entire match. Quite literally every single team I queued into yesterday was like this. Every single one. Around 10 matches at peak time. That’s uh… kind of unacceptable. Watching the replay it’s pretty clear these people are either kids or don’t play FPS games but as a flex player up against lvl 80+ three stacks it’s just always a waste of time, without fail. I doubt the new players are having fun either.

These people should not be anywhere close to being in the same lobby and it’s insane that some think this is okay for a game where you cannot choose the server you play in. Every friend who I’ve tried to get into the game has told me how deeply unfun it is to queue just to kind of give up and wait in spawn while our 6 year old light goes literally 1-33 just so the match ends quicker. I’m spinning a wheel to figure out whether or not I can actually play the game, and it seems like 75% of the time I just can’t. I genuinely regret getting the battle pass with my friend because we honestly don’t want to play the game enough to complete it. Every mode is like this. I don’t care about losing, but these games are just spawning piecemeal and getting picked off because nobody else except you can get a single kill. I’m literally just looking at the map from respawn more than actually doing anything else like, say, playing the game. Like it doesn’t even feel like losing, it feels like gambling without any meaningful input on my part at all.

I don’t care if queue times are under a minute if most of the matches it puts me in aren’t really matches to begin with. I’d much rather wait an extra minute to be able to actually play the game, and unless they figure out that anything else is wildly dysfunctional it’s kind of doomed.
