Landon King before god of ruin

I have a theory that rina kent had a whole idea for landons character before god of ruin but scrapped it due to it being too dark. Maybe she was worried about the black lash she would get like in GOM. If you look at the feats that landon displayed before his own book, hes arguably as dark or even worse than killian. In god of malice we just know he’s extremely controlling and possessive of his siblings and that they fear him, like the way he controlled glyndons bfs, or the way brandon talks about him. Hes also a bit unhinged just like killian as glyndon compares the two alot, and he kidnaps killian and water hoses him until killian was unconscious. Hes also just as violent as the heathens and can fight them in the underground rings, but its in god of pain that we really see how crazy he is. He manipulated creighton for almost 60% of the book, and when creighton found out what landon was planning it was already too late. He used creightons fixation on annika and revenge to make a plan that caused creighton to be in a coma, caused his aunt and uncle sadness, his siblings were crying or sad, his cousins were in tears, nikolai almost died, and made annika leave the whole country and away from creighton. Just for some “chaos” or “anarchy” that in landons words was a “fantastic success” of a plan😭. This feat alone is probably the craziest moment from any rina kent character outside of ashers sister or maybe helen nash. Obviously landon didnt want creighton dead but it’s the fact that even with those “complications” he still views it as a fantastic success. God of pain really showed the extent landon would go to, just for some fun/anarchy. In god of wrath he manipulated cecily horribly by using her feelings for him and indirectly making her a accomplice to arson by burning down the heathens mansion. Landon was fine with them all dying in the fire if he came out on top, he also antagonized jeremy for fun and made him feel insecure about who cecily truly loved which isnt that bad compared to what he did in the previous books but it just goes to show who landon is. Creighton even describes him as “deranged” and that hes worse than eli. This post isnt to say landon is bad in god of ruin, I personally loved god of ruin and its in my top 2, I wouldve liked it more if landon was a bit darker like how he was showcased in the previous 3 books.
