Which Ryzen CPU should I use for 1440p (high settings) games? Also, what GPU should I pair with this?

I want a build that can run high quality games at 1440p games with at least 160-180 fps (my monitor is 240hz). I was going to make a build with a 7 7800X3D but heard that it's pretty overkill unless you're using a 4090 or 4080 super. I was thinking about using a RX 7900 XT or XTX with a 7 7700x3d or 7 7800x3d, what would be the best combo?
