Can the Behringer LM Drum sequence/control external midi synths?

Good morning all,

I'm intrigued by the LM Drum after learning my favorite band uses a Linn for a lot of their beats (and just generally loving the sound). I see that it has a very similar interface to the Digitakt, and I'm wondering if, like the Digi, it can sequence and control external midi synths. Does anyone know?
