Any tutorials for a Mario Plays video??

Trying to do something similar, but the only way I can think of seems overly complicated. Basically, my plan is to turn down the opacity of my game clip, make gmod reactions at certain points, and after remaking the opacity, selecting the entire timeline and putting it in a corner. Any better ideas??
