What to do with a 16 yo son who is turning out to be manipulative and no motivation

I'm part of the 18 and you're out of the house. As a woman, in my life time I will have given a total of 25 years of my life to children. My oldest son had it a lot harder and is very independent and we have a good relationship now. He seems to take accountability and responsibility for his life. My youngest son, I have coddled more, sadly, and I'm seeing the repercussions of that. I have pulled back so much over the last year and have really been encouraging him to take more responsibility. I was on him so hard about getting his permit which he never did, I was on him so hard about getting a job, which only lasted two weeks when he finally got one, he has no ambition and I am so tired of it. I have been looking forward to when he gets 18 so I can finally move out of the country and live my life but I don't see the point of waiting now. He has no ambition or drive and I can start seeing what will be his future if he doesn't change. He'll be a manipulative shell of a man who latches on to women for their light. A tale as Old as Time.

I'm very calm usually but this morning I went the f*** off. I found out he's failing every class, which is never done before, and he has totally given up. His room smells of weed. I took all of his electronics and told him that he needs to make a plan cuz he's going to get out of my house I'll let soon. I feel like I just want to send him to his dad's to live or another male family member. Idk, I'm mad writing this. When I was his age I was all by myself and I have fought my whole life to make his life more comfortable.

If this screams of emotional immaturity from my point of view, I understand. I'm just Soo tired of the male species. I have tried to talk gently, look at options with him, ECT.

Help! Please be gentle with responses, I'm trying my best but I'm so tired.
