Different view of parents after having kids of your own.

I (M47) am the parents of two almost 7-year-olds. I am wondering if anybody else has had kids and then had changed views of their own parents after experiencing parenthood themselves. I used to get along with my parents pretty well but now I can’t stand my dad and have a lower view/tolerance of my mom. I think part of it stems from thinking back a little deeper on my experiences as a child and their parenting. Anybody else?
