Neck/shoulder stiffness; difficulty swallowing pills

I started getting extreme stiffness in my left neck and shoulder. The muscle from my shoulder all the way up to the back of my ear is so tight and constricted I have difficulty turning my head. And the joints/bones in my neck crack a lot now. And difficulty swallowing large pills started.

At first I brushed it off. I tried readjusting my sleeping position. But when it persisted for almost 2 months, I realized something else is going on. I put two and two together and connected it to the semaglutide. It started when I increased my semaglutide to 1.5mg and got worse at 1.7mg. 1.7 mg is when the difficulty swallowing started.

After reading on here all the people who've experienced almost the exact same symptoms, it's definitely related. I don't want to go back down to 1.3mg because my weight loss stalled considerably so that would just be a waste of money. My weight loss didn't kick back in until 1.7mg so I'd hate to give it up. But at least I now know what the cause is, and armed with that information, I'll have to make a decision. The easiest answer would be to stop taking semaglutide and see if the problems subside or go away. But I'd hate to let go of my dream of getting this weight off. Thinking about trying acupuncture to see if it can loosen that muscle up.
