Need help picking a mower

I have decided to give up on lawn services and start mowing again myself (sons are old enough to learn now too). I have a .65 ac Bermuda yard with a decent amount of grass. Most of it is pretty flat only one small hill area.

I am leaning towards an Ego to have less maintenance and easier starting for the family. Should I just get the biggest one they make and call it a day? Or will I regret not getting a gas mower?
