Advice about PCE

PCE/HCE

Hello everyone, I am hoping to apply to PA school thus August and I am a little worried about my PCE. I worked briefly as a patient care tech a few years ago and acquired over 100 hours which is the requirement for many schools I will be applying to. Besides that, I worked as a restaurant manager for almost 4 years and had around 8,000 hours there. Could that help my case at all? I plan on explaining how my experience in customer service and leading a team will be translatable skills as a PA. I am currently shadowing and I have some volunteer positions over the summer. Any advice is much appreciated. I am a certified phlebotomist tech and am looking for work for either that or really anything that gets me more PCE. My GPA is a 3.7 currently. I honestly don’t expect to get in my first round but it’d be interesting to hear others stories or if any of yall got accepted with low PCE. Thank you.
