Question

So about a week ago on Saturday I got the offer to start working at my local Whole Foods. The lead of the produce section called me telling me they sent the offer and that I had paperwork to sign with a deadline. I don’t know how many days I had but I got up to signing the I-9 forms both section 1 and section 2. I held off on the section 2 forms because I couldn’t find my birth certificate but when I finally found it the I-9 website died on me and I couldn’t submit my forms for 2 days (I was going to originally submit it on Tuesday 3 days after I accepted the work offer). I called the IT support and they sent me a new link for the I-9 section 2 and I submitted my documents on Thursday this week where I then proceeded to sign the other forms left (the ones I couldn’t access after the I-9). They sent me an email and message saying that they’re going to contact me with information about the date and time I start working as well as info for Workday to complete. On the offer letter it originally said my tentative start day was 5/12/25 (tomorrow) and they told me they would send me an email about the time I was gonna start and it’s a day before and still nothing. Did I sign my papers to late that the offer expired and now I won’t be able to work tomorrow? Or does the message take time to get to me like hours before the day I’m supposed to start?
