freaking myself out?

hello everyone. i have been diagnosed with genital herpes about 1.5 years ago and have only had the initial outbreak. i was dating my ex most of the entire time so i never had to worry about spreading it, but a while after breaking up i started becoming friends with benefits with this girl. she knows that i have genital herpes but i did (only) finger her the other day and i am absolutely TERRIFIED that i may have spread it to her. i’m not sure why my brain is convinced of this as my genitals were not involved in this process but i cannot stop stressing myself about it 24/7. can someone please convince me that i did not spread it to her or risk giving it to her. or if i did put her at risk please tell me. i am making myself worried sick and i cannot think straight about the possibility of her catching it.
