When did you know?

Most of the trans people I have seen online (like social media influencers etc.) generally knew it when they were a child or atleast they gave some signs as a child. But in my case I never gave any signs as far as I remember. When I was 5 or 6, I used to apply my mother's nail paint but that too I don't think was something related to my transness or femininity but a childish mischief? I am really not sure. And apart from it I can't think of anything else which could tell me that I'm a trans. Even the major feelings and dysphoria I felt was when I turned 14 or 15. I often think that maybe 'p***' and the way women are represented in media has messed up my brain and I'm just a gay guy who like to dress like a woman.

When did you all figured it out or felt that maybe you're not cisgender. Also is it common to not have any significant signs as a child? I know some trans people don't give signs but how common is it?
