IPL devices

Hi everyone, I’m new to this sub so please bear with me. I am a fair-skinned woman with very dark hair, and have been looking into IPL devices. However, I’m getting very overwhelmed with all the options.

From what I’ve seen on Reddit, a lot of people recommend the Philips, Braun or Ulike devices. But even then, the prices range so much!

Is there an advantage to buying a more expensive one from either of those brands? Do they do the same thing? Is one of those brands better/worse than the others?
