was this normal for my mother to do or should it have stopped earlier?

im gonna put a TW here because i believe this would fall under a graphic category. im sorry if this sounds stupid or if im being dramatic, ive just been through a lot of sexual abuse and im starting to question pretty much every interaction ive had with everyone.

for context, im ftm, so please dont refer to me using female terms.

when i was pretty young (like 3, 4, 5 ish) i would get very frequent stinging pains in my vagina. like, very frequent. understandably at that age my mother would apply baby cream to that area to ease the pain.

i kept getting these pains as i got older and i believe the age they stopped happening was when i was 7 or 8. the thing is though, is that my mother would still put the cream on for me even when i was that old. i was never taught how to do it on my own, nor was i ever encouraged to do so. i was able to apply antiseptics and ointments on myself everywhere else on my body, but specifically my vagina i was never taught to do.

i honestly never remembered this happening in my childhood until just now.

obviously i dont want to think she had any bad intentions, but it makes it worse when i realise that she has made repeated sexual comments about me and has also groped me multiple times, even after ive told her to stop. and in fact, she usually gets mad at me when i tell her to stop.

again im sorry if this sounds dramatic or oversensitive. im just concerned honestly.
