I got banned from Onimai.
I got banned from Onimai. Yeah. That Onimai. The goddamn RAT, the remote access tool coded by what I can only assume is a caffeine-overdosed gremlin with a grudge against logic and usability. This wasn’t just some subreddit — I’m talkin’ about Onimai RAT, some jank-ass tool pretending it's the second coming of SeroXen but ends up acting more like Clippy on meth. And guess what? The community that revolves around this frankenstein abomination decided I wasn’t welcome anymore.
Why? Because apparently, Mr Thunker, the absolute knob-polishing tyrant at the top of the Onimai food chain, decided I was “toxic to the community.” No proof. No incident. Just a ban and a smug little message that reads like it was written by an AI trained on Twitter meltdowns and Reddit power-trip energy.
Let me paint you a picture: I’ve been in the Onimai scene since alpha stage. I was helping noobs set up port forwarding. I was helping find bugs and making sure the damn payloads couldn't be removed that easily. You know what Mr Thunker was doing? Posting low-res screenshots of his C2 panel and bragging like he just reinvented the internet. Bro, your rat still uses CreateProcessA raw. Sit the fuck down.
Anyway, I made the mistake of pointing out — politely, mind you — that maybe Thunker shouldnt hardcode the Telegram bot token, because, y’know, OPSEC is a thing. Next thing I know, Thunker has a fucking aneurysm, calls me a “disruptive element,” and within minutes, I’m banned from the Telegram, my license banned, and buddy even decides to block me. One second I'm helping people, and the next, I’m getting kicked like I just dumped his database.
And don’t get me started on the hypocrisy. Mr Thunker bans me for “toxicity,” but half the com is a cesspit of people LARPing as elite cybercriminals while asking how to bind a keylogger to a PNG. One dude said he was gonna make his stub fileless by just deleting the stub file after execution. And that guy got a thumbs up. Are you fucking kidding me?
Meanwhile, I made one joke about how Onimai’s UI looks like it was built in Visual Basic by someone who hates UI design, and suddenly I’m public enemy number one. Bro, your panel still doesn’t resize properly in 1080p, let alone 4K. The context menu clips into the taskbar like it’s trying to escape your crusty-ass code.
The worst part? I actually gave a shit. I liked working on this project. I liked making it less garbage. I liked helping people figure out why their Onimai was crashing. But nooo, Mr Ego Complex over here doesn’t like being corrected, so he yeets anyone smarter than a toaster out of his little kingdom of spaghetti code and echo chambers.
So yeah. I got banned from Onimai. Because in Thunker’s eyes, helping the project = threat. Giving feedback = insubordination. Not kissing his ass = treason.
To the rest of y’all in that community — if you ever get banned for asking a real question or some shit that makes Thunker look bad, just know you’re not alone. He’s not running a RAT. He’s running a fucking cult with bad syntax. Long live forks, open-source salvagers, and real devs who actually write clean code and take criticism like adults.
Mr Thunker, if you’re reading this: Your C2 is mid. Your crypter is detectable by Microsoft Defender in safe mode. And your ego couldn’t even fit in a LZMA archive. Fuck you.
