Qayamat, Pralaya, Judgment Day – Why do all religions talk about an “end”?

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately — almost every major religion has some version of a final day. In Islam, it's called Qayamat, in Hinduism it's Pralaya, and in Christianity, it's the Judgment Day. Different names, but all pointing to something huge — a final reckoning, a day where everything is judged, destroyed, or renewed.

Why is that? Why do all these beliefs talk about an end of the world — not just physically, but spiritually too?

I’m not super religious, but I’m curious about how different faiths describe this moment. Is it about fear? Justice? A clean slate? Or something deeper we all feel inside?

Would love to hear your thoughts, stories, or beliefs — no matter what background you're from. I’m just starting to explore this topic and hoping to have respectful, deep conversations.

What do you think happens at the end? Or... is it already happening in some way?
