Looking to pivot into MO

Level 1

Hello all, I’m currently 26(F) working at a BB firm in a CSA role. I’ve been at this role for approx 2 years and it makes up my entire banking/finance experience. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and I’m currently a registered representative, that is S7,S66, and SIE licensed. I also have a background in full stack coding(pure JavaScript and minimal python knowledge) but basically I’ve come to realize that financial advising is not for me. I have more of an interest to work on the technical side with portfolios and institutions on the MO side preferably in asset management.

My goal is to take the CFA level 1 and pursue the entire designation after getting into a more technical role. With my current experience, background, and education, what are your thoughts on my ability to break into an entry level MO office role like trade support, junior analyst etc if I pass the CFA level 1? My network is good enough but I don’t know enough people in any other companies outside my own and I’m really looking to move to another firm entirely.
