Broad Question to any South Africans regarding the current political climate in light of the news buzz on Trump granting amnesty to some dozen Boers
Just an uneducated Texan who is just delving into the similarities in the material conditions of the American South and Modern South Africa stoping by . With the Influx of contemporary Idpol stemming from right wing Afrikaner Parties and the pseudo left ANC offshoots such as the EFF adapting to rhetoric similar to that of the American Intersectional Race Reductionist left, I was wondering if any South Africans here know of any burgeoning movement that is happening across racial divides and one that gets Afrikaners/Whites , Blacks and Mixed on board with some sort of mass labor based leverage that will push for solutions that address the massive inequality that directly contributes to the nations high crime and murder rate . As the SA right and non materialist left parties seem all to keen to address this problem in terms of race reductionism to my knowledge , be it the white Afrikaner Genocide / Kill the Boer rhetoric, and idpol talking points . Is there some attempt to counteract this idpol bullshit going on that will give us Americans hope . I know asking this on Arrr South Africa Left will get me banned with them being rabid intersectionalists, That and the legacy of Apartheid made the inequality in SA just as if not more dire than the US. Such broad class collaboration is critical in fighting the inequalities of both our nations and wreckers should not attempt to divide any potential movement on either side of the Atlantic , which sadly seems to be agressivley happening in both countries
