I am at Day 36 of true route. Why is it so much more boring than the other routes?

I am currently playing the true route, i feel bored out of my mind. There are so many explorating segment and the character writing feel like they are stagnating. I hate that i have to save Gaku of all people while letting best girl die.

I end up finishing the cult route and currently playing the defeat route. They are so much more intresting, i love that we are exploring different lore instead of dragging things out.
