Why did I not grow any taller?

I'm 19M and I know I probably dont have any chance of growing taller, but I remember looking at my 12 year old self and seeing that I was only 2 inches shorter than my height now. I thought that boys usually grow taller in their middle school and high school years, but that never happened to me. How is this even possible? Shouldn't I have grown 6-10 inches more? R my parents to blame or am l?
